Yahoo Sports NFL on Rachaad White

White's 650-yard pace falls well short of 1,000-yard projection; lacks explosiveness.

White signed a 1-year deal with Washington as part of a 3-headed running back group with Bill and Fatman (ages 27, 25, 23). The source was excited about White's track record of 2,500 rushing yards, 1,400 receiving yards, and 25 touchdowns in his first 4 seasons, projecting roughly 1,000 yards and 6 TDs per year. UPDATE: Through 6 games, White is tracking for only about 650 yards from scrimmage this season at 4 yards per carry with 83 receiving yards and 2 total touchdowns. The source notes White has not looked explosive and the running back group as a whole has not performed as the talented unit initially described.
