Honestly, I don't see how Ford makes the 53-man roster... Ford appears destined for a spot on the practice squad and, perhaps, a late-season injury replacement role. No surprise; Ford spent time on the Vikings practice squad and is now on the Cardinals practice squad.

Ford failed to make 53-man roster; now on Cardinals practice squad.

Ford signed a 1-year deal but the source did not see how he makes the 53-man roster, with Bill, Fatman, and Rachaad White as roster locks and McNichols as the likely 4th RB if kept. Ford appeared destined for the practice squad and perhaps a late-season injury replacement role. UPDATE: Ford spent time on the Vikings practice squad and is now on the Cardinals practice squad.
