Yahoo Sports NFL on Cam Ward

Ward's 73.8 rating (4th-worst) and 5 straight games with INTs raise concerns for 2025 No. 1 pick.

Ward hasn't taken the expected step forward in his second season. He has thrown an interception in five consecutive games and his 73.8 passer rating is fourth-worst among 33 qualified quarterbacks this season. The Titans won't give up on Ward after just two seasons, but the pressure is mounting on the No. 1 overall pick from the 2025 NFL Draft to show something in the second half of the season before facing what could be a make-or-break third year.
