Yahoo Sports NFL on George Pickens

Solak proposes Pickens trade to Chiefs for 2027 third and conditional 2028 fifth.

Solak proposes the Chiefs send a 2027 third-round pick and 2028 conditional fifth-round pick to the Cowboys for Pickens. The rationale is that Pickens and Joey Porter Jr. are on contract years and unlikely to be extended by Dallas at market rates; the trade would allow the Chiefs to recoup a third-round compensatory pick in free agency while sweetening the offer with a conditional future pick based on production levels.
