Yahoo Sports NFL on Kyren Williams
From the article
Williams has been a stud for the Rams. Yes, he's had some fumbling woes, but he also totes the rock a ton for L.A., and fumbles are a part of the game. Williams still produced 99 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, but his lost fumble at the Rams' 30-yard line gave the Raiders a chance to cut into the lead.
STACKED’s take
Williams' fumble and prior locker room comment may prompt McVay to increase Corum's role.
Kyren Williams remains the official starter on the Rams' depth chart ahead of Blake Corum and produced 99 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries against Las Vegas. However, Williams fumbled at the Rams' 30-yard line, a turnover that arrived after he had met with McVay to clarify a critical comment made in the locker room following the previous week's loss to Arizona. The source notes Williams maintains a substantial edge in passing-game usage against the Raiders and remains heavily involved due to his pass-blocking prowess, which is especially important with Matthew Stafford at quarterback. Despite fumbling concerns, Williams has plenty of experience and has been a stout pass blocker, though Corum may have slightly more burst.
