STACKED’s take
Mahomes hasn't thrown TD since Week 4; under duress 52.8% of snaps vs. Seattle.
Mahomes hasn't completed a TD pass since Week 4, despite facing weak competition (Dolphins, Raiders, Chargers, Seahawks with combined 8-18 record). Against Seattle, the Chiefs failed to reach the red zone for the first time ever with Mahomes at QB. Kenneth Walker III's production was masking underlying issues: Week 3 (73 all-purpose yards, 0.13 team EPA per play), Week 4 (179 yards, 0.14 EPA), Week 6 (139 yards, 0.05 EPA), Week 7 (57 yards, -0.10 EPA). Mahomes was under duress on 52.8% of his dropbacks against Seattle due to missing top WRs Tyquan Thornton (IR) and Rashee Rice (returning), with the Chiefs running 11 personnel on 52.9% of passing plays and TEs blocking on only four snaps.
