Yahoo Sports NFL on AJ Barner

Barner's return adds red-zone dimension; four catches show immediate offensive impact.

Barner contributed four catches for 42 yards against Kansas City and opens up additional offensive dimensions for Seattle. The source notes he could be particularly useful in the red zone and highlights his yards-after-catch ability. Multiple plays are designed to create space for him against man coverage, with his routes clearing space for other receivers. One red-zone play shows vertical routes pushing defenders deep, leaving Barner room to run, though Darnold misfired on the opportunity. Having Barner back provides the offense with more versatile tools to move the ball even in difficult situations.
