Smith threw for 287 yards, 3 TDs but Jets generated just 205 team air yards

Smith went for 287 yards and three touchdowns against Miami in Week 7, yet the Jets offense produced only 205 total team air yards (fifth fewest of the week). This disconnect illustrates the Jets' limited air yards environment and suggests touchdown variance rather than sustainable volume.
