Yahoo Sports NFL on Brandin Cooks

Cooks among four eligible receivers in depleted Week 7 corps.

Brandin Cooks was one of four eligible wide receivers for the 49ers in Week 7 against Atlanta. He was part of the depleted receiver corps that limited Brock Purdy's options. Purdy noted he was trying to get the ball to Cooks and see what he could do, indicating Cooks was a target in the game but part of a group of new receivers unfamiliar with Purdy's timing and rhythm.
