Herbert remains a disappointment despite tools and weapons; currently QB25 and droppable in redraft.

Quarterback has become a consistent disappointment despite having all the tools and weapons. Herbert has cycled through coaching changes, running backs, offensive line investments, and skill-position talent (Ladd McConkey, Trey Harris, Quinton Johnson) yet continues to underperform. Currently QB25 on the year with limited weapons—McConkey is not a true WR1, and Harris and Johnson appear to be WR3-caliber at best. The pattern of excuses has exhausted itself; at some point, the issue is Herbert's play itself. In redraft, he is droppable; in dynasty, he may be acquirable cheaply in superflex leagues but consistency and reliability remain major concerns.
