It would be a lot cooler if Metcalf didn't have five drops this season — second-most behind only Matthew Golden — but at least we've seen some signs of life in recent weeks.

NeutralMatchup

Metcalf has upside vs. Browns but drop issues persist.

Metcalf faces the Browns' 31st-ranked EPA defense in a matchup with the week's highest game total (54.5), but has five drops this season (second-most in the NFL). He finished WR16 (5-115-0) against this Browns defense in their previous matchup, though the Browns have refrained from using ace cornerback Denzel Ward in shadow coverage this season—Ward only matched up with Metcalf on 25 percent of his routes in their prior meeting.
