FantasyPros Articles on Nico Collins
From the article
My favorite buy-low right now heading into Week 8 is Nico Collins. He just had a total dud with almost nothing to show for it, and the Texans are on a bye this week, so his owner is probably fed up and ready to move on at a discount. The talent and target upside are still there once Houston gets back on track and starts forcing him the ball again.
STACKED’s take
Collins' recent dud and bye week create a discount despite WR1 upside potential.
Collins is a buy-low candidate heading into Week 8 due to disappointing recent production (10 catches, 136 yards over last three games including a two-catch, six-yard dud against the Giants) and Houston's bye week creating urgency for his owner to trade. Despite the slump, the talent and target upside remain intact once Houston returns and forces him the ball again. Aaron St Denis would offer Garrett Wilson or mid-tier RB2 Chuba Hubbard to acquire Collins, viewing it as a potential season-swinging deal. Justin Fuhr would offer Tee Higgins straight up, trusting Collins more down the stretch than Higgins despite Higgins' impressive 148-yard, one-touchdown Week 7 performance.
