Brown's efficiency and goal-line work declining; Perine getting opportunities.

Brown is scoring 12.5 fantasy PPG heading into Week 8 but has posted fewer than 10 points in three of his past four games and hasn't found the end zone since Week 1. His efficiency metrics are concerning: averaging only 3.4 YPC (33rd in the league), with a 7.3% explosive run rate tied for 59th, and averaging just 1.63 YPC after first contact (34th). Samaje Perine led the team in carries in Week 5 and was given goal-line opportunities, cashing in on a 1-yard score last Sunday. While Brown can't be benched in deeper formats due to lack of capable running backs, he's no longer a must-start if other RB2 options are available.
