Yahoo Sports NFL on Terry McLaurin

McLaurin's absence creates major void as No. 1 passing option.

McLaurin's absence leaves a major void as the No. 1 option in the Commanders' passing game. While Stefon Diggs has held that role elsewhere, he cannot make up for McLaurin's absence on his own. The source notes that McLaurin was lined up in the slot on only 20.2 percent of his snaps, indicating his primary role was outside ball-winning, which creates a different type of void than the slot-heavy role Antonio Williams will fill.
