Pierce placed on IR; Eagles lose fourth-string RB to injury.

Pierce was placed on injured reserve by the Eagles on Wednesday. He was the fourth-string running back option, and his placement on IR means the Eagles have lost their second, third, and fourth backfield options to injury, forcing them to sign Jaydon Blue from the practice squad to the active roster.
