Yahoo Sports NFL on Matthew Stafford

Stafford faces Chargers' 25th-ranked pass defense with James sidelined.

Stafford draws a Chargers defense ranked 25th in half PPR points allowed to QBs (13.0 per game) and 27th in passing points allowed. The Chargers lack a talent advantage defensively with LB/S Derwin James sidelined, and if their offense can threaten an injured Rams defense, it's a favorable spot for Stafford. Los Angeles enters as 6.5-point home favorites with a 26.0-point team total (fifth).
