Behind the Steel Curtain on Jaylen Warren

Dowdle injury elevated Warren to featured-back role; he's now Steelers' offensive centerpiece.

An injury to Rico Dowdle opened up more opportunities for Warren after the Steelers initially signaled a 50-50 split backfield approach with Dowdle's signing. Warren has taken full advantage of those increased touches and has become the heartbeat of Pittsburgh's offense, driving their three-game win streak and serving as a net positive that bridges the gap created by their less explosive passing game.
