Stampede Blue on Jakobi Meyers

Meyers traded for 4th/6th picks despite 1,027-yard season and possession receiver pedigree.

Jakobi Meyers was traded by the Las Vegas Raiders to the Jacksonville Jaguars at the 2025 deadline in exchange for fourth- and sixth-round selections in the 2026 NFL Draft. Meyers was 28 years old at the time and coming off the best season of his career, recording 87 receptions for 1,027 yards in 2024. He had also developed a reputation as one of the league's more dependable possession receivers, consistently producing between 700 and 900 yards throughout his career. However, he was entering the final months of his contract and had requested a trade from Las Vegas earlier that year.
