We've high hopes for him. He had a slow start because he got hurt, and now we're seeing what that's going to look like within our offense. We really haven't seen the full extent of what he can do within our offense in terms of catching and running.

Commanders GM Adam Peters said the team has high hopes for tight end Chig Okonkwo. Okonkwo had a slow start due to injury but is now showing what he can do in the offense. Peters noted they haven't yet seen the full extent of what Okonkwo can do in terms of catching and running, and plan to continue giving him opportunities. With Terry McLaurin down and other injuries, Okonkwo will get more chances, and Peters believes they can get even more from him.
