This will be a huge test for how much he has grown this week. Seattle's pass defense is a buzz saw. In most leagues, despite the horrible matchup, you're still starting Williams.
STACKED’s take
Williams faces Seattle's elite pass defense but remains a league start.
Williams is QB6 in fantasy points per game but faces a difficult matchup against Seattle's elite pass defense. Since returning from his hamstring injury, Williams has averaged only 10.5 rushing yards, so Derek Brown doesn't expect rushing to be a huge part of his game this week unless his hamstring is back to 100%. Among 34 qualifying passers, Williams ranks 5th in yards per attempt, 5th in passing success rate, 2nd in highly accurate throw rate, and 1st in catchable target rate, having improved his accuracy this season. Seattle has allowed the 3rd-fewest yards per attempt, 6th-lowest passing success rate, 10th-lowest CPOE, and 3rd-lowest EPA per dropback over their last five games. Despite the horrible matchup, Williams is likely a start in most leagues.
