Yahoo Sports NFL on Tanner McKee

McKee's 5.3 YPA ranks 37th of 38 QBs; lowest Eagles efficiency since Koy Detmer.

In two starts, McKee has completed just one pass of 20+ yards (a 21-yarder to Makai Lemon). His 5.3 yards per attempt ranks 37th of 38 qualifying quarterbacks, ahead of only undrafted Buccaneers rookie Jalon Daniels (5.1). His 8.7 yards per completion is also 37th, ahead only of Daniels (8.4). Both metrics are the lowest by an Eagles QB since Koy Detmer in 2005 (4.3 and 7.4). The source notes McKee hasn't been awful but the Eagles need more firepower from him; without DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, it's up to McKee to recognize open receivers downfield and the coaching staff to find ways to drive the ball.
