Goff's precision processing and play-action prowess offer exploitable edge vs. Vikings' blitz.

Goff is a precision processor in play-action situations and has excelled on under-center straight dropbacks this season (6-of-9, 66.7% completion, 84 yards, 2 TDs); Detroit's offense ranks fourth in play-action rate (33.3%) and can exploit Minnesota's vulnerability against play-action passes (Vikings rank 12th in EPA/dropback at +0.003 and 27th in explosive pass rate at 13.8% against play-action), particularly given Goff's ability to process quickly and the Lions' above-average pass protection.
