Douglas only has 9 receptions on the season. But when averaging more than 20 yards per catch, it's fair to say he's giving this offense a much-needed jolt; His biggest play was a long catch-and-run touchdown in the fourth quarter. Douglas recognized a blitz, adjusted his route, caught Willis' pass, broke a tackle attempt from Minkah Fitzpatrick and raced to the end zone.

Douglas averages 20+ yards per catch with game-winning TD; shows rookie poise and route adjustment.

Third-round pick Caleb Douglas (75th overall) continues to transform the Dolphins offense despite limited volume. Through three games, Douglas has 9 receptions but averages more than 20 yards per catch, giving the offense a much-needed jolt. Against the Jets, his biggest play was a long catch-and-run touchdown in the fourth quarter where he recognized a blitz, adjusted his route, caught Willis' pass, broke a tackle from Minkah Fitzpatrick, and raced to the end zone. He also showed poise by refusing to be intimidated when Fitzpatrick got in his face—exactly what you want from a young receiver.
