Worthy's target share to decline sharply with Rice's return; drops to WR50.
Worthy's volume is set to decline with Rashee Rice's return vs. the Broncos. While Rice missed nearly all of the past three games, allowing Worthy to serve as the team's top receiver with a 25% target share and 38% of air yards, Rice is expected back this week. Rice had a 39% target share in his last full game before getting injured, and it feels like just a matter of time before he's back to being the team's clear-cut No. 1 option. The Chiefs have been much more successful on the ground than through the air this season, making it hard to imagine multiple receivers being relevant for fantasy purposes. Worthy drops to WR50 in projections for Week 8.
