Fantasy Life Articles on Zay Flowers
From the article
Jackson returned from a three-game absence on Sunday, only to injure his thumb on the first play of the game. He did not return and to make things worse for Flowers and the Ravens, backup Tyler Huntley left with turf toe and also didn't return.
STACKED’s take
Jackson (IR) and Huntley (turf toe) out; Flowers held to zero catches with rookie QB.
Flowers' league-winning upside has been severely compromised by quarterback injuries. Lamar Jackson returned from a three-game absence but injured his thumb on the first play of the game and did not return. Backup Tyler Huntley left with turf toe and also didn't return, leaving Baltimore with undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano under center. Flowers ended the day with zero catches against a team allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. Jackson has been placed on injured reserve and could miss the rest of the season; Huntley could miss the next few weeks. The Ravens play the Jaguars on Thursday and will likely trade for a veteran quarterback, but the source notes Flowers' league-winning upside appears to be gone and should be lowered in rest-of-season rankings.
