Behind the Steel Curtain on DK Metcalf

Metcalf's 4 yards and interception highlight Steelers' WR struggles.

Metcalf contributed only 4 yards to the Steelers' passing game in the 27-6 win over Cleveland; the team's wide receiver core combined for just 43 yards; Metcalf also had a deep ball attempt intercepted by Denzel Ward, and has never been a consistent jump-ball receiver, raising questions about the Steelers' red zone play-calling that featured goal-line fades to him despite the team's efficient short-yardage run game with Jaylen Warren.
