Yahoo Sports NFL on Makai Lemon

Lemon emerged as Eagles' best pass catcher with 13 catches in two games.

After a hamstring injury delayed his start through minicamp and training camp, Lemon has caught up to NFL speed over the last two weeks and emerged as the Eagles' best pass catcher. He posted 7 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys, followed by 6 catches for 57 yards against the Commanders—leading the offense for the second straight week. Over two games, Lemon has 13 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown as the WR1 in the absence of DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, and is the only wide receiver Tanner McKee seems to trust. The source notes his production could expand significantly once Smith and Wicks return.
