The Browns were playing from behind in most of their 27-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, and Sampson is Cleveland's passing-down back. Sampson had just one rushing attempt in that game. He had 6-62-0 on eight targets, but most of that came in garbage time.

Sampson's snap increase came in garbage time; Judkins is the early-down back in weak offense.

Sampson played 12 more snaps than Quinshon Judkins in Week 8, but context matters: the Browns were playing from behind in a 27-6 loss to the Steelers, and Sampson is Cleveland's passing-down back. He had just one rushing attempt and 6-62-0 on eight targets, with most production coming in garbage time on the final drive. Judkins is the undisputed early-down back, and Sampson's role isn't particularly fantasy-relevant in an average Cleveland offense.
