Yahoo Sports NFL on Kyler Murray

Murray's Vikings offense ranks bottom-five in the NFL through mid-2026.

The source characterizes the Vikings offense as one of the worst in recent team history, with Murray at the helm producing bottom-five NFL offensive output by objective measures halfway through the 2026 season. On Sunday against Detroit, the Vikings had ten possessions with only two lasting longer than three minutes, and the offense was unable to sustain drives despite the defense's effort, indicating Murray's performance is not meeting NFL starting standards in this system.
