Johnson's 73-yard TD and 128 yards limited by 11 routes and Walker's 5 targets.

Johnson erupted in Week 8 with five catches for 128 yards and a touchdown, including a 73-yard TD reception (Mahomes' longest completion since 2021) and 15 yards on his lone carry. However, the downside is that Johnson only ran 11 routes while Kenneth Walker still saw five targets, indicating this was far from a takeover of the passing-catching role. Johnson's explosive Week 8 should earn him more touches going forward, but he remains largely a contingent bet for now.
