Yahoo Sports NFL on Trevor Lawrence

Lawrence's career-high 153.3 rating showcases elite efficiency with tight end-heavy scheme.

Lawrence posted a career-high 153.3 passer rating in Week 8 against the Colts despite no Jaguars wide receivers finishing with 25 yards, relying instead on Bhayshul Tuten and Brenton Strange (55 yards apiece) as his top weapons. The Jaguars' 12-personnel passing attack averaged 1.1 EPA per pass play, the best in Week 8 and ninth-best in any game this season—four times as efficient as the 2025 Rams when Matthew Stafford won MVP.
