Yahoo Sports NFL on Anthony Richardson
From the article
Richardson offers a different look that Jones simply does not have off a torn Achilles. Richardson's athleticism, mobility, arm strength and capability to threaten defenses with his legs and his arms is something that opponents 'foam at the mouth at' when facing the Colts today.
STACKED’s take
Richardson's athleticism and dual-threat upside offers different look than Jones
Anthony Richardson, the Colts' former fourth overall pick, offers a different look that Daniel Jones does not have off a torn Achilles; his athleticism, mobility, arm strength and capability to threaten defenses with his legs and arms is something that opponents 'foam at the mouth at' when facing the Colts, per star running back Jonathan Taylor. Daniel Jones argues that at 8-7 in 15 career starts, Richardson deserves a legitimate opportunity to develop and learn on the fly, especially given the Colts' 2-6 record and the team's decision to wave the white flag in 2026. Development demands playing time, and Indianapolis has done very little to give Richardson a legitimate opportunity to get out of the dog house.
