Bleeding Green Nation on Tanner McKee

McKee's 18-for-28, 139-yard outing marred by critical sack-fumble and turnovers.

Backup quarterback's performance against the Commanders was uneven and mistake-prone; McKee finished 18-for-28 with 139 yards, one interception, and one lost fumble. The source notes he had early glimpses of competence including a well-designed wheel route to Saquon Barkley and a well-layered throw to Makai Lemon on a deep crossing route, but the bad outweighed the good as he navigated muddy pockets and took a critical sack-fumble late in the third quarter in a 'can't take a sack here' scenario. Overall assessment: 'One week after seemingly making some progress, this was about as ugly as it's been for McKee in another performance mostly defined by mistakes.'
