Silver And Black Pride on Josh Jacobs

Jacobs scored twice but managed only 39 rushing yards; celebration sparked controversy.

Week 8 performance: 21 carries for 39 yards and 1 TD; 6 catches for 13 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. Outside of the two touchdowns, Jacobs did not perform well on Thursday night. The source notes that talk surrounding the running back after the game centered on a controversial celebration following one of his scores, where Jacobs put his hands behind his back and had a teammate seemingly release him from handcuffs. Jacobs said the celebration was an ode to the gospel song 'Break Every Chain.' Additionally, three more women accused him of physical abuse after the game, adding to the domestic violence context from his recent removal from the commissioner's exempt list.
