The Vikings represent the ideal landing spot for Taylor. Minnesota has money-balled their backfield with Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason in 2026, and their defense has carried a dilapidated offense to a 6-1 record. Taylor would round out the team's identity as an old-school, physical title contender. The 49ers paid second, third, fourth, and fifth-round picks for Christian McCaffrey, and the Colts are reportedly seeking a similar haul. Minnesota has an extra third-round pick and two extra fifth-round picks in next year's draft to facilitate the deal.
