Austin Reed signed to Ravens practice squad as backup after UFL stint

Austin Reed signed with the Ravens' practice squad on Nov. 2 after spending training camp with Baltimore earlier in 2025. Reed has never appeared in a regular season NFL game; he spent his 2024 rookie year on the Bears practice squad before playing as a starter in the UFL's 2026 spring season, where he completed 56.3% of passes for 1,923 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions across 10 games with an 85.5 passer rating. He is the presumed backup to Fagnano barring additional transactions.
