Darnold's atrocious play is a big problem for Seahawks' playoff contention.

Darnold's performance was described as "worryingly atrocious" and the source identifies him as "a big problem" for the Seahawks' playoff contention. The quarterback was rocked for hurried incompletions, sacked early, and threw a late-game interception in an "impossibly funny way" when he was "aloof and didn't realize the ball was picked." The source argues that shaky quarterback play undermines the team's contender status: "How can you have a contender when the quarterback play is this shaky?"
