Giddens' six-carry debut suggests he's the sneaky handcuff over McGowan in Indy.

Second-year running back DJ Giddens is a sneaky add in deep leagues (0% rostered at Yahoo) after seeing the field for the first time in Week 8; he split 11 carries with rookie Seth McGowan behind Jonathan Taylor in Indianapolis's blowout loss to Jacksonville. The fifth-round pick from 2025 is a big-bodied back at 6-foot and 212 pounds who could mix in for goal-line work. Giddens out-carried McGowan six to five and split short-down-and-distance carries with Taylor, suggesting the handcuff torch may not have been passed to the rookie; if Taylor is traded, Giddens could see a meaningful role rather than McGowan taking over entirely.
