Singletary positioned for meaningful role with Tracy out and Scattebo on thin ice.

Devin Singletary is in prime position to take on a meaningful role in the New York Giants backfield going forward with Tyrone Tracy officially on injured reserve, Najee Harris released, and Cam Scattebo's weekly role feeling dicey. Singletary broke loose for a 30-yard game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Texans in Week 7 and is the preferred pass-catcher; with Scattebo on thin ice, there is room for much more than handcuff status.
