Stowers made his NFL debut in Week 7 and then made his first NFL catches in Week 8. A couple of those catches came in garbage time but it was still good to see him finish with 3 for 53.

Stowers making early impact; developmental TE with elite athleticism.

The second-round pick from Vanderbilt missed the first six games on Injured Reserve with a quad injury but made his NFL debut in Week 7 and first NFL catches in Week 8, finishing with 3 for 53 (some in garbage time). Stowers was drafted as a developmental tight end and the best way to develop is to get him more playing time this season. He is far from a finished product but has the type of athleticism that's worth developing.
