Reed signed to practice squad; preseason familiarity gives him depth chart edge.

Undrafted free agent Reed, who spent time with the Ravens during preseason, was signed to the practice squad on Monday ahead of Week 9. He is an undrafted free agent who joined the Chicago Bears in 2024 and has not yet appeared in an NFL regular-season game, but completed 56.3% of his passes for 1,923 yards, 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions during the 2026 UFL season with the Dallas Renegades. Reed will likely be ahead of Kedon Slovis on the depth chart given his prior familiarity with the Ravens organization.
