Yahoo Sports NFL on Gardner Minshew

Minshew led four straight TD drives off the bench to beat Cowboys 33-30.

Minshew replaced starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the third quarter of the Cardinals-Cowboys game and directed four consecutive touchdown drives, the last of which tied the game at 30 with six seconds remaining. He then mounted another scoring drive in overtime, leading the Cardinals to a 33-30 victory. Despite the Cowboys having a 10-point lead with under four minutes remaining (95% win probability), Minshew carved up the Dallas secondary and orchestrated a historic comeback.
