Slovis signed by Ravens as emergency QB depth amid Jackson and Huntley injuries.

The Baltimore Ravens signed Slovis off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad to add depth at quarterback following injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. Slovis, 25, is a third-year player who has taken just five regular-season snaps since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2024. He spent three years at USC, where he led the Pac-12 in passing volume and yards per game in 2020–2021 (68.4% completion, 280.6 yards per game, 6.1% TD rate), but his production declined sharply at Pitt and BYU (58.0% completion, 216.5 yards per game, 3.6% TD rate). After Kyler Murray's injury in October, Slovis was promoted to Arizona's active roster and appeared in two games when Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew also suffered injuries. He posted prolific preseason numbers with Green Bay (434 passing yards, third in the league; 83.6 PFF grade, min. 50 snaps) but did not earn a 53-man roster spot. The Ravens will likely designate him as the emergency No. 3 quarterback on the 53-man roster, though he has only a few days to learn Baltimore's offense.
