His 13-25, 172 yards, and an interception stat line is easily one of the worst we will see this season from Rodgers. However, you never watched this game and thought Rodgers was playing poorly.

Rodgers' 172-yard, 1-INT game was contextually sound given the run-heavy script and dominant defense.

Rodgers posted 13-25, 172 yards, and 1 INT in Week 8 against Cleveland—easily one of his worst stat lines of the season—but the performance was contextually sound given the Steelers' dominant rushing attack (200 yards) and game script. He led a 44-second touchdown drive at the end of the first half and hit Darnell Washington on multiple chunk passes downfield. Analysts note he stayed clean, moved well, and took only one sack, which matters as the Steelers will rely on him more down the stretch. A critical drop by DK Metcalf (ball hit him in the chest) prevented a better stat line and an interception.
