Love placed on injured reserve with high-ankle sprain; out 4-5 weeks, third ankle injury this season.
Arizona Cardinals placed Jeremiyah Love on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain that will sideline him 4-5 weeks; this is his third ankle injury of the season. The source notes this has been a disastrous rookie season for the third overall pick, compounded by a preseason ankle injury that derailed early offensive integration under Mike LaFleur's plan to give him 15 touches per half. Through eight games, Love has managed only 114 touches for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns, with multiple games missed due to injury.
