Yahoo Sports NFL on DK Metcalf
From the article
One catch for four yards is beyond unacceptable for the money he is making. It's not just that the receiver isn't making an impact, but he's actively costing the team. Rodgers hit Metcalf right in the chest as the receiver bobbled the ball, which eventually led to an interception.
STACKED’s take
Metcalf's one catch for four yards and costly drop led to interception; team needs deadline help.
Metcalf caught one pass for four yards against Cleveland, a performance Jarrett Bailey called "beyond unacceptable for the money he is making." Joey Bray went further, stating it's "simply impossible for anyone to defend Metcalf anymore" and that the receiver is "actively costing the team." Bray cited a specific play where Rodgers hit Metcalf right in the chest as the receiver bobbled the ball, which led to an interception. Bray noted that drops and frustrating plays have been the theme of the Steelers' most expensive offensive player and that the team "almost certainly needs to add a weapon at the deadline so they don't have to rely on Metcalf down the stretch."
