Texans paid second-round pick for Harrison, betting on Stroud reunion to revive him.

The Texans traded a second-round pick (slightly discounted with a sixth-for-seventh-round swap) to the Cardinals for Harrison, banking on a reunion with his college quarterback C.J. Stroud to revive his production. Harrison's rookie production was 62 catches for 885 yards and 8 touchdowns, lower than Brian Thomas Jr.'s 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns, but the Texans believed the quarterback change would unlock his potential.
