In his lone start in Week 7 against Houston, he totaled only 10.2 fantasy points, but was outstanding in Week 6's fourth-quarter comeback attempt with 243 passing yards, a touchdown and 16.3 fantasy points on only 21 attempts. The Giants just had their bye, giving McCarthy two weeks to prepare for Sunday's matchup against Philadelphia.
