Sanders poised to start vs. Saints if Watson doesn't clear protocol

Sanders likely to start at QB against Saints if Watson fails to clear concussion protocol; this would be his first start of the 2026 season. The matchup is favorable—Saints' defense is among the worst in the NFL—and the Browns return home for a four-game stretch afterward, giving Sanders an opportunity to shift the narrative around the team's quarterback situation.
