Downs requests trade after leading Colts with 30 catches through 8 games.

Wide receiver Josh Downs has requested a trade from Indianapolis. Through eight games, Downs leads the Colts with 30 receptions for 330 yards and one touchdown and has become an important target for Jones in the short and intermediate passing game. Downs is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and with the Colts seemingly shifting toward the future after trading Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, he could be moved before the deadline.
